n the spirit of backcountry adventure, Backpacker magazine announces the 10th annual Get Out More Tour presented by WOOLRICH®—an interactive mobile media and education tour—designed to inspire readers and encourage participation in active outdoor pursuits.

Backpacker’s Get Out More Road Team, starring Sheri and Randy Propster, will visit specialty outdoor retailers and festivals in 48 states and 75 cities to promote the active outdoor lifestyle and teach practical outdoor skills.

At each retail stop, the Get Out More Team will host 60-minute seminars on trip planning, choosing the right outdoor gear and apparel, safety in the outdoors and much more.

“Sheri and Randy’s interactive retail seminars bring the pages of Backpacker to life. Their passion and extensive outdoor expertise educate our customers about the skills, stewardship and equipment they need to get out more,” said Linda Johnson, lead sales associate at The Trail Store in Louisville, Ky.

Get Out More audiences will have access to expert information and opportunities to win great outdoor gear. At select locations, the Get Out More Team will guide experiential outdoor adventures to expose audiences to the outdoors just outside their doorstep.

“Together with our local tips and Backpacker’s vast information library, we have great resources to help prepare people for nearly any adventure,” added Johnson.
